It offers an open directory, smart matching, online and in-person booking, and charges **zero commission per session**: patients never pay the platform, and professionals keep 100% of what their clients pay.

Nexo is a technological intermediation platform — it does not provide healthcare or clinical advice, and it only processes administrative data (scheduling, payments, invoicing). Clinical responsibility lies entirely with the independent licensed professionals. The platform covers all areas of psychology: clinical therapy, sport and performance, career and organisational, psychological assessment, forensic, vocational guidance and personal development.

The platform supports three user types:
- **Patients**: free, always. Browse the open directory without an account, use smart matching to find the right professional, book online or in-person sessions, and keep their booking history in a personal portal.
- **Professionals (psychologists & psychiatrists)**: subscription-based, with 0% commission per session. Verified profiles (OPP/OM licence checked by the team), smart scheduling, WhatsApp appointment reminders, integrated payments and Portuguese invoicing (Moloni).
- **Clinics**: multi-professional management — team, schedule and payments in one place, with no per-session commissions.
