By accessing or using Nexo you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Nexo is an intermediary platform that helps patients and independent mental health professionals connect and book appointments.
Nexo is NOT a healthcare provider. Nexo is NOT responsible for the quality, suitability, or outcomes of sessions between patients and professionals.
Fees for clinical work are agreed directly between patient and professional. Nexo does not, at present, process session payments between patients and professionals.
Professional subscriptions are processed via Stripe. You may cancel as described in your dashboard — generally without commitment beyond the period already paid, unless expressly stated at purchase.
Nexo is not liable for session quality, suitability, or outcomes; for cancellations or no-shows; for professionals’ acts or omissions; or for indirect losses from using the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law.
Platform design, copy, branding, and code are owned by Nexo or its licensors. Content published by professionals (e.g. articles or workshops) remains their responsibility, subject to licences granted to display it on Nexo.
Nexo may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, the law, or third-party rights, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Courts in Portugal have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
